ONE ACT MUSICALS...dedicated to the creation and performance of shorter musical theatre works for the professional stage, community, collegiate and amateur theatre. Amateur and community theatres in particular struggle to find material that is interesting and new, and that meets their casting and staging requirements. ONE ACT MUSICALS features shows that require predominantly female casts, simple staging (most can be done in black box theatres) with few elaborate set changes, and music that is accessible to non-professional singers.
